Scripture:
Isaiah 41:10, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous hand.
Context:
God is speaking to a fearful Israel reminding them that he is there, and his power and presence and love are always with them.
Personal Story:
There was a night when Satan crept in my mind and thoughts and I listened to him telling me that I had no purpose left in this life. Because of my church and community I immediately reached out and was reminded about my AWESOME God’s presence in my life and my community of people. I was also reminded of those who depend on me and our relationships. We all have to be able to communicate anything especially when satan gets us to listen to him. I am so truly thankful for my God, family, church, and community.

Application:
This verse speaks to our emotional and mental struggles we face every day. Including but not limited to, fear, anxiety, loneliness, and insecurity.
I say the following prayer every day and would like to share it with you:
“God when fear tries to come into my thoughts, remind me you are there. Strengthen me when I am weak. When fear tightens my chest, please calm me. Amen.”
