After Your Heart: The Attitude of the Heart

The Sermon on the Mount is Jesus’s first teaching recorded in scripture and sets the stage for what it means to be a believer. Jesus is going to declare himself as the fulfillment of the Law. Ultimately revealing and reminding us that God is after our heart. The purpose of the Law was to reveal the needy state of our heart, and Jesus has come to fill that. He sets up a paradigm that all of how we live is a response to the condition of our heart.
